Who ever said fun and entertainment couldn’t be an acutal theme of a house?

Sources of enjoyment seem endless in the St. Miguel Townhouses, and the people who live in the house love their theme.

The residents pride themselves on the many options for entertainment their house provides visitors. Senior English major Jim Feighan enjoys throwing darts, for example.

“Playing the original Nintendo,” is senior marketing major Chris McKeever’s favorite thing to do. Playstation 2 and Nintendo 64 also offer leisure activities.

Their 32 inch television sits on top of a spare refrigerator, which senior social work major James Carcilli describes as “the milk fridge.”

On the door of the fridge hangs a poster of Philadelphia Eagle David Akers, which complements the green “Eagles Country” banner that hangs above the futon.

Behind the door near the TV hangs a poster of Eazy-E. Below the poster sits stacks of movies, including The Goonies, Not Another Teen Movie and The Lion King.

The residents' passion for movies becomes even more evident upon noticing the Batman poster hanging next to the windows.

Miscellaneous posters that hang throughout the house, including those featuring the Rat Pack and Kramer from Seinfeld, reveal aspects of the personalities of these versatile roommates.

The dining room table doubles as a base for the ping pong and foosball tables, where the residents hold competitive matches.

The backdrop for this game arena includes a Miller Lite banner, an Old English poster and a display of handwritten messages and quotes from friends.

“I just like to hang out with my friends, play games, watch movies and be silly,” McKeever said.

The men admit that while not much organized thought went into decorating, they love this place they call home.
