Professor Randoms

Full Name and title: Dominic Nucera, Professor of Marketing, Marketing Manager, IBM, but he prefers to go by Dom.
Birthday: Dec. 15.
Hometown: Professor Nucera was born in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia.

What is your favorite thing about Philadelphia? Nucera enjoys spending time in Center City. He has always been very interested in visiting all of the different sites around the city, including the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross House, along with many more.

What do you like to do in your free time? He enjoys four different activities. They are playing with his dogs, golfing, playing seven-card stud and eight-ball pool.

Where is your favorite vacation spot and why? “I’d have to say Scotland. I love going there to play golf, and I’ve always enjoyed being that close to the sea. And while you are there, you can never predict the climate,” Nucera said.

If you could have any superhero power, what would it be and why? Nucera would like to have the ability to have total recall. He said, “I believe people forget so much that they learn, and having the ability to remember everything would allow me to have an infinite amount of knowledge, and I would be able to articulate information better and make better comparisons.”

What is your favorite movie of all time? His favorite movie is Hamlet with Richard Burton.

What is your favorite memory from college? Nucera is a graduate of La Salle University. During his time here, he enjoyed hanging out on the Main Quad. “It’s hard to believe it hasn’t changed in 37 years,” he said.
