Men: Jeremy Ortiz - Men's Soccer

In the Explorers’ season opener against the Rider Broncs, La Salle trailed early, 2-0. With 20 minutes left in the contest, Ortiz took the ball through the Rider defense and scored an incredible goal to cut the deficit in half. The Explorers were unable to complete the comeback, though, and lost 2-1.

Women: Christa Dominick

Dominick played well in the Colgate Classic this weekend in Hamilton, N.Y. She recorded 3.36 kills per game and 1.18 blocks per game in the four-team event, and she was named to the All-Tournament Team. La Salle went 1-2 in the tournament, with a win over Rider and losses to Colgate and UMBC.
