Collegian Athletes of the Week

John Lorenzo Golf Laguna Hills, Calif. Senior

Lorenzo had a nice weekend at the Mount St. Mary’s Spring Invitational. In the three-round event, he placed 28th of 88 golfers. His rounds of 75, 78 and 78 gave him an overall score of 15 over par. This was the best score among La Salle golfers.

Laura DeZolt Softball Morrisville, Pa. Pitcher/Infielder Senior

DeZolt played very well in a tough week for the La Salle softball team. In Sunday’s doubleheader against St. Bonaventure, she threw two complete games, including a four-hit shutout. She struck out 14 Bonnies in the two games and allowed only eight total hits.
