Ben Rosehart

An aspiring Radio and TV Sports Broadcaster, senior Ben Rosehart loves people and sports and is excited that soon he will be paid to talk and write about both. Ben primarily writes in the Collegian's sports section, but has also had pieces in the features and commentary sections. While he covered the La Salle women's soccer beat in the fall of 2005, two of Ben's favorite Collegian articles were columns featuring two of his internship experiences. He recently returned from the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, where he worked for NBC for over three weeks as a Production Assistant. Ben also traveled to Jacksonville, FL for Super Bowl XXXIX as the culmination of his internship with the Philadelphia Eagles PR department and the NFL Network during the 2004-05 NFL season.

Ben also currently co-hosts two TV sports shows on La Salle 56: SportsTalk Philadelphia   (roundtable sports discussion show) and SportsLine  (La Salle sports news and highlights), and co-hosts "RandoMania" on WEXP La Salle Radio, where he is General Manager.   Ben has been recognized as a 2005 Broadcast Pioneer Scholarship winner, and was honored to accept a new laptop as part of the 2004 Junior Communication Faculty Award.
