Tara Pizzo is currently a sophomore pursuing her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Communication concentrating in both the Public Relations and Mass Media Writing tracks with a minor in Marketing. She is originally from Southwest Philadelphia but has recently moved to Swarthmore residing with her parents and younger sister. She graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic High School in 2004 where she held editor positions of both newspaper and yearbook so writing has always been one of her greatest passions. After visiting other colleges, Tara decided to attend La Salle since it was here that she instantly felt right at home. In addition to writing for the Collegian , Tara is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and when she is not busy with school she loves to spend time with her friends and family.

After graduation, Tara would like to further her education by attending graduate school and to one day have a successful career in either the field of Public Relations or Journalism.
