Things You Must Do To Graduate

1. Apply to Graduate

March 1 is the last day to apply for graduation. To apply, log on to the mylasalle portal, and under the Student tab, select Apply for Graduation.

2. Complete Your Exit Interview

Federal Perkins Loan Exit Interviews

All graduating seniors who have borrowed under the Federal Perkins Loan Program must complete an exit interview, as required by the federal government. If a student does not complete the exit interview, a hold will be placed on the student’s account and grades, diplomas transcripts, etc., will not be released.

Online instructions for Perkins exit interview:

Federal Direct Loan Exit Interviews

All graduating students who have borrowed under the Federal Direct Student Loan Program must complete an exit interview, as required by the federal government.  Exit interviews can be completed online at studentloans.gov  as early as April 1, 2018.

After completing the exit interview, please print a copy for your records.

Note: All graduating seniors who borrowed both Federal Perkins and Direct loans must complete two exit interviews.

3. Clear Up Your Holds

The University Registrar reserves the right to withhold the diploma and/or transcript of any graduate who has an unfulfilled obligation to the University (academic, disciplinary, library, financial, etc.). Students may view their holds by accessing Br. LUWIS on the mylasalle portal.
