Things You Need

All graduates will be fitted for and purchase their cap, gown, and academic hood on the following dates and times:

Main Campus Bookstore
April 24–27, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you are picking up your gown at the Main Campus Grad Fair April 24–27, parents or students should pre-pay and pre-order their caps and gowns; they can do so at herffjones.com/college/lasalle. Gowns ordered online will be delivered to the Main Campus Bookstore for pick up during the April 24–27 Grad Fair. On-site sales will still be available during the fair.

Bucks County Center
May 2-3, 5 to 7 p.m

Montgomery County Center
May 4, 5 to 7 p.m

Purchase cost is:

  • Associate’s attire $78.98 + tax
  • Bachelor’s attire $83.98 + tax
  • Master’s attire $91.98 + tax
  • Doctoral attire $85.98 + tax

Bucks County Center and Montgomery County Center students who pre-order regalia at herffjones.com/college/lasalle will have their rain tickets delivered with their regalia at the respective pick up times.

Students graduating with academic honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, maxima cum laude) and/or with general University honors wear the same attire as the other graduates.

Baccalaureate Mass

Tickets are not required.

Graduate Commencement

Tickets are not required.

Graduation Gala

Following Baccalaureate Mass, La Salle University and the La Salle Alumni Association invite families, friends, and members of the faculty and staff to join the graduates at the Graduation Gala on Saturday, May 20, on the Tennis Courts. Tickets cost $40 and include a fun evening of food, drinks, music, and celebration. Tickets are available online at lasalle.edu/galatickets.

Please note: this event will sell out. We advise tickets to be purchased as soon as possible.

 

Undergraduate Commencement

Tickets are not required if the ceremony is held in McCarthy Stadium. Tickets are required if the ceremony is held in the Hayman Center due to inclement weather.

Each student will be provided four guest tickets in the event the Commencement ceremony is held indoors. Tickets will be available to be picked up on the dates, times, and locations listed below to all degree candidates and those students who have been granted walk-through authorization by their academic Dean/Graduate Director. A valid La Salle University ID card or photo ID (driver’s license) is required to obtain your tickets.

The University is not able to maintain a waiting list for graduates wanting additional tickets. Any graduate who feels that he/she needs more than four tickets is urged to locate another graduate not planning to use his/her ticket allotment.

Please note that the University is unable to replace lost or forgotten tickets. In case of inclement weather, guests must have tickets in order to gain admittance to a Commencement Ceremony in the Hayman Center.

Order personalized graduation announcements at herffjones.com/college/lasalle. Announcements can also be ordered at the Campus Store on Main Campus on Feb. 10-12, and at the Bucks County Center on Feb. 19-20. Announcements will be sent directly to the graduates.

School rings may also be ordered at the dates and times listed above with delivery by Commencement.

The Explorer Yearbook is financed by the Student Activities Fee, which all full-time day program undergraduate students pay each semester. Therefore, these undergraduate degree candidates
will receive a 2017 Explorer Yearbook without an additional fee.

The Explorer Yearbook will be mailed to all full-time day program undergraduate students in September. Please make sure mailing addresses on file with the Registrar’s Office are up to date. Continuing studies or graduate degree candidates can purchase the 2017 Explorer Yearbook for $50. Interested students can send a check or money order made out to La Salle University for $50 with their name, phone number, and shipping address to: Explorer Yearbook, 1900 W. Olney Ave., Box 685, Philadelphia, PA 19141.
