We are building a digital library!

We have been working with campus partners, including the library's Department of Special Collections, the University Archives, and the Explorer Connection to build a digital library that highlights the diverse research and historical context that makes La Salle such a vibrant and unique institution. Our current collections include:

Digital Wisteriana

Exploring the notable former residents of Belfield estate, still extant as part of the La Salle campus, the lives of the Wister Family elaborated through a series of articles, papers, photographs and other research.

Digitized letters are available from Owen Wister, the author of "The Virginian," to a variety of people, including many to George Lorimer, the former editor of the famed "Saturday Evening Post."

Imaginative Vietnam Online

The online component to our renowned Imaginative Representations of the Vietnam War collection.

Digitized materials include artwork, the Vietnam Generation Journal, and research based on our collection.

The Explorer

Our yearbook, "The Explorer," has been digitized and can be accessed through online "flip books." See the first yearbook from 1940, or explore the free-wheeling 1960s, through more experimental layouts, including the infamous "Year Box."
