Richard Barca, ’08
Richard graduated from La Salle with a degree in Economics. After graduation he went on to study at Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ. He is now in his second year of a two-year clerkship to a federal district court judge in Scranton, PA.
Richard’s Comments about Economics and the Economic Department:
“I chose economics because, as a major, it offers skills applicable in a wide variety of prospective careers. I also chose economics because I have always had an interest in understanding the forces that motivate economic change.”
Academic coursework in law school is writing intensive and requires the analysis and application of the law. I felt that my economics degree provided me with the skills necessary to succeed in law school.
