Mission, Vision, and Goals
Mission
The purpose of the La Salle Center for Entrepreneurship is to provide students, alumni, and the community a forum for enhancing both their knowledge of entrepreneurship as well as opportunities to engage in entrepreneurial activities. Emphasis will be placed on experiential learning and networking opportunities, and will incorporate elements of social entrepreneurship and minority leadership.
Vision
The vision of the Center is to be one of the leading resources in the Philadelphia region for those interested in learning about entrepreneurship, for those interested in starting their own businesses, and for entrepreneurs who wish to further enhance their own businesses.
Goals
- Extension of the La Salle Learning Community
Incorporate entrepreneurship education into the learning environment for the entire student body, and ultimately provide students with the opportunity to earn a University recognized Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
- Bridge to the Philadelphia Business Community
Foster and create opportunities for student alumni in the business community.
- Further Develop the Alumni Network
Provide meaningful alumni involvement to enhance their own entrepreneurial activities and also advance the goals of LCE.
