Profile
Finance Professor Joshua Buch has a B.S. from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, an MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia, and a Ph.D. in International Business from The Wharton School of Applied Economics, The University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Buch is a Professor of Finance at La Salle University, Philadelphia. He served as the Finance Department Chairperson for eight years, and is currently Coordinator of the Minor in International Studies.
He is teaching International Business, Global Finance, and Financial Markets and Institutions both on the undergraduate and graduate levels. His recent research and professional activities center around mortgage-related issues such as the possible causes of the recent sub-prime crisis, mortgage origination fees, the various aspects of the APR, EU mortgage and housing-related issues, and more. Articles on these topics were published in Real Estate Review, Real Estate Finance Journal, International Journal Of Bank Marketing, Management International Review, and other publications.
