Profile

Professor McNichol received her B.A. and MBA from La Salle University.  Her teaching responsibilities focus on risk management and insurance, corporate finance, and financial markets and institutions.

Professor McNichol  earned the CPCU and ARM professional designations.  She is active in local chapters of the CPCU Society and the Risk and Insurance Management Society. She is a founding member of the Alpha Delta Chapter of the Gamma Iota Sigma National Collegiate Insurance Fraternity that provides a forum for students to learn about the insurance industry and to network with insurance professionals. McNichol serves as Faculty Advisor to the Alpha Delta Chapter and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Grand Chapter.  She also serves as advisor for the Experiential Education Program in the Finance Department and frequently serves as a reviewer of textbooks that are in the pre-publication stage.
