Students pursuing the Pre-Med, Pre-Speech, and RN-MSN Bridge Programs are considered fifth year undergraduate students for the purposes of the Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans.
Students in these programs must be enrolled for 6 credits in a semester to be eligible for Direct Loans, with annual borrowing limits of up to $5,500/subsidized and up to $7,000/unsubsidized, with the subsidized portion being based on a student's need.
