Working on Campus

Students who wish to work on campus may do so either through the Budget program, or the need-based Federal Work Study program, if eligible.

How do I apply for Budget jobs?
A Budget job allows a student to work on campus and be paid through the department's individual budget. You do not have to be eligible for need-based Federal Work Study to apply for a budget position.

To apply for a Budget position, please contact the supervisor associated with the position on the following spreadsheet.  If hired, the supervisor will need to complete a Budget Form for you, which can be obtained via www.lasalle.edu/finaidforms.  Once approved by the supervisor, you will need to bring the form to the Office of Financial Aid for review.  All finalized paperwork then needs to be submitted to Payroll on West Campus by the student worker.  (Please note:  first time student workers must provide certain documents to Payroll as proof of eligibility to be employed in the United States).

How do I apply for Federal Work Study jobs?
Federal Work Study is a need-based employment program administered by the University. Priority is given to full-time students who submit all financial aid items on-time.

In order to be considered for these types of jobs, you must have been offered Federal Work Study as part of your financial aid package.

To apply for a Federal Work Study position, please contact the supervisor associated with the position on the following spreadsheet.  If hired, please pick up your Federal Work Study Authorization Form from the Office of Financial Aid, which will need to be completed by your supervisor.  Completed forms must be submitted to Payroll on West Campus by the student worker.  (Please note:  first time student workers must provide certain documents to Payroll as proof of eligibility to be employed in the United States).

Students interested in obtaining a Federal Work Study position for the 14-15 academic year, please inquire with the Financial Aid Office.
