A Pennsylvania certification is automatically recognized as valid in more than half of the states in the U.S. La Salle’s teacher education requirements are commonly accepted for certification in the remaining states.
Certification programs are offered to post-baccalaureate students intending to pursue Pennsylvania Instructional I certification in either Early Childhood and Special Education or Secondary Education. Post-baccalaureate certification candidates commonly take the M.A. degree as part of their certification program.
