The GRE consist of three parts: verbal, analytical, and quantitative. Prospective students can prepare themselves for the examination by using any of the test preparation books put out by companies such as Barron's or ARCO. These are available in most bookstores and in many libraries.

The MAT is a standardized test consisting of 100 analogies (A:B::C:D). The test takes approximately 50 minutes to complete and is usually offered twice a week through the Counseling Center Office. To get exact information on the times and days the test is offered at La Salle University, call the Counseling Center at (215) 951-1355. Because this is a standardized test, it may also be offered at a college close to your home. You will receive a copy of your test results in approximately 4 weeks.
