Chi Sigma Iota

Chi Sigma Iota is an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. It promotes a strong professional identity through members (professional counselors, counselor educators, and students) who contribute to the realization of a healthy society by fostering wellness and human dignity.

Founded at Ohio University in 1985, Chi Sigma Iota has over 85,000 members who have been initiated into the society. It is growing by over 6,000 new members per year. They are affiliated with campus-based chapters contributing to their counselor education programs and communities.

Here at La Salle University, eligible students can become a part of our chapter, Chi Sigma Beta. As a member, you will have the opportunity to become active in CSI's mission of promoting excellence in the profession of counseling, while becoming involved in a variety of professional development activities, community engagement events, and more.

If you have questions or would like more information about our chapter, please contact our faculty adviser, Dr. Charles Jacob at jacob@lasalle.edu . If you would like more information about Chi Sigma Iota, International, please see csi-net.org.
