Graduate Certificate in Professional and Business Communication

A Convenient Way to Advance Communication Skills

The Certificate in Professional and Business Communication is an 18-credit program that allows working professionals to enhance their communication knowledge and skills and without the commitment to a M.A. program.  Our students who complete the Certificate with a GPA of 3.0 are welcome to continue to pursue their education in our Part-time M.A. Program.

Certificate in Professional and Business Communication students must complete three required courses (COM 601:  Professional Communication Ethics, COM 602:  Effective Presentations, and COM 603:  Strategies for Professional Writing) and then choose 3 elective courses.

Certificate students must complete their course work with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Our Part-time MA courses are offered at nights, on weekends, and online so that working professionals can complete the degree while maintaining One Year employment.
