Profile
Elaine is an Associate Professor of Communication at La Salle University. Since joining the La Salle Graduate Faculty in 2000, she has enjoyed a wide range of teaching experiences within the Professional and Business Communication program. She routinely teaches several of our foundational courses in communication theory, communication ethics, and communication research as well as more specialized content areas such as group dynamics, interpersonal leadership, training and development, and sex, gender, and communication in the workplace.

In addition to teaching domestically, Elaine has experience teaching business professionals in both Prague, Czech Republic and in Athens, Greece.

Her research and writing tend to focus on pedagogy within the communication classroom, relational communication and maintenance, and female friendship. She is a member of the National Communication Association (NCA), the International Association for Relationship Research (IARR), and the Eastern States Communication Association (ECA). She also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Western Journal of Communication.
