Profile
I have worked in various aspects of education for nearly 50 years. First as Commander of an advanced training company in the United States Army Training Command, Armor, then as a middle school teacher and finally as a university professor. During my time at La Salle I have taught a variety of courses and also been Director of the Education Department’s Evening Program, Director of the Secondary Education Program, Chair of the Department of Education and co-founder and Director of Graduate Programs in Education.

I specialize in educational policy and politics, educational philosophy, school controversies, school law, educational history, school finance, and social influences on education. I also teach Physical and Cultural Geography and have taught Educational Psychology, German Literature in English Translation and Changing Perspectives in the Humanities — the later for Temple University.

Active in professional organizations such as the Society of Professors of Education and Pi Lambda Theta, the international national honor society in education, I also served as Contributing Editor to Educational Horizons for nearly twenty years, was a board member of the Interfaith Council for the Teaching of the Holocaust and chaired the committee that created the national standards for Foundations of Education. Right now I am busy co-founding New Educational Foundations, a trans-ideological scholarly journal and operating www.newfoundations,com , a 3 million plus visitors a year education website specializing in research, criticism and review.
