I am currently teaching undergraduate courses in comparative literature and graduate courses in German culture, history and literature. I publish articles on twentieth century German lyric poets, book reviews, edit books and am copy editor for professional journals. I also produce original poetry in German which is published in this country and Austria and Germany. Additionally, I manage the undergraduate programs at La Salle in Foreign Languages and Literatures and the graduate program in Central and Eastern European Studies.

I am a member of the Association of Teachers of German and the Modern Austrian Literature and Culture Association.
