Is La Salle’s MBA Program a part-time or full-time program?
The program is a part-time evening/weekend program. Full-time study is available for students who plan to take 12 credits per semester in daytime classes.

Is the MBA Program accredited?
La Salle’s Master of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Only 30% of business programs worldwide are accredited by AACSB.

Can I complete the MBA Program at one of La Salle's satellite campuses?
We have three campus locations in the Philadelphia area and students can complete their degree at any campus. The Main Campus in Philadelphia is located at 20th Street and Olney Avenue. The Bucks County Center is located in Newtown and the Montgomery County Campus is located at The Metroplex Corporate Center in Plymouth Meeting.

Can Saturday MBA students take weeknight classes?  Can weeknight students take Saturday classes?
Yes!  Any part-time MBA student can take classes at any campus and in any format (weeknight or weekend).  These flexible options may it easy to construct a schedule that suits your needs.

Is it possible to have courses waived based on my background?
Yes. Foundation courses may be waived based on undergraduate or previous graduate coursework. Students must have received grades of “B” or better in equivalent undergraduate coursework. If a waiver is not granted, students may opt to take waiver examinations.

How can I find out how many credits I will need to complete my degree?
The number of credits required depends on your prior academic and professional experience. There is a required minimum of 33 credits and a required maximum of 48 credits. The easiest way to see how many courses will be required is to request a Model Roster. Just fax or email a copy of your undergraduate transcript and your resume to the MBA Office at 215.951.1886  or mba@lasalle.edu. We will review your credentials and then fax, email, or mail your completed Model Roster to you.

Is it possible to transfer credits from another MBA Program?
Students may transfer up to six credits from another AACSB-accredited MBA program.  A grade of “B” or better is required.  Each request must be pre-approved by the Director and will be evaluated on its own merits.

How long will it take to complete the MBA program?
This will depend upon how many credits you need to take and how many credits you choose to take per semester. The program can be completed in as few as 12 months. However, the average length of time for part-time degree completion is 2-3 years.

What are the specializations in the MBA Program?
Students may specialize in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing or General Business Administration.

Is it possible to register for MBA courses prior to being admitted to La Salle’s program?
No, students must be accepted into the program in order to register for courses.

When is the application deadline?
All documents must be submitted by August 15 (Fall), December 15 (Spring), and April 15 (Summer). Under special circumstances, students may be admitted up to the first day of classes of each term. International student applications should be complete at least two months prior to the dates listed above.

How long is each semester/session?
Fall and Spring semesters are 15 weeks and the Summer Session is 12 weeks. Intersessions are offered between the Fall and Spring semester and between the Summer and Fall semester. The Intersessions are 2-3 weeks in length, with classes being offered on weekends and several weeknights.

When do classes meet?
Most classes meet one evening per week, Monday through Thursday from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We also have a Saturday MBA Program.

Are Career Services available?
A variety of career services are available for MBA students, including employer contacts and networking opportunities.

Is Financial Aid available?
Part-time students can apply for need-based financial aid. Please contact the Student Financial Services office at 215-951-1070, or click here.

How does an International Student apply for admission?
International students must request an International Graduate Admission Application and complete Financial Responsibility and Educational Summary forms. TOEFL scores also must be submitted.
