La Salle University's Graduate Commencement Ceremonies were held on Friday, May 16, 2014 in the Gola Arena on Main Campus. Over 700 graduate students were eligible to participate in the ceremony, presided by Mr. William Sautter, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Brother President Michael J. McGinniss, FSC, Ph.D. conferred the degrees to the doctoral and master's candidates. The Commencement video (http://www.lasalle.edu/commencement/2014-graduate-webcast-replay/) showcases the achievement of our graduates and our academic awardees. Mr. Gregory O. Bruce, an outstanding alumnus of La Salle's MBA program and active contributor to education and non-profit organizations, as well as Dean Emeritus of the School of Business, delivered an inspirational commencement address.

La Salle's annual Diversity Forum will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013. Our guest speaker will be Gina Brelsford, Ph.D from Penn State University, Harrisburg. Out of the Darkness Community Walk
On Sunday October 6th, La Salle University's Trauma and Suicide Prevention Research Team will be walking at the Out of the Darkness Community Walk Event. This event, which benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), aims to help raise awareness about suicide, depression, and other mental health issues, in addition to helping those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Almost one million people attempt suicide annually, and unfortunately more than 33,000 die every year.
There are several ways that you can help us to raise awareness and reach our fundraising goal of $500. If you are interested in joining our team:
1) Search for and join our team by going to

2) Click on the “Join this Team” tab
3) After selecting “walker,” add your fundraising goal, and select “Join a team”
4) Complete the rest of the registration information
5) Click on continue to the next step to complete registration
Once you have registered, information on inviting others to join and/or donate will be available on your personal fundraising page.
If you would like to donate to our team, you can choose a member from the site above and donate to them.
