Doris Kearns Goodwin is a renowned historian and award-winning author whose work has included best-selling books on Lyndon B. Johnson, the Kennedy family, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and baseball. Team of Rivals: the Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln won several prestigious awards and was the basis for the feature film Lincoln, directed by Steven Spielberg.
