A Typical Day - Senior Bobby Newmeyer

 

Bobby Newmweyer is a senior Biology major with a minor in English. He is from Pottsville, PA and graduated from Blue Mountain High School.

Currently, Bobby is President of the Pre-Med Honor Society and the Vice-President of the La Salle Chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

He has also been a member of the Community Development Staff for 3 years, serving as a Resident Assistant in the dorms for 2 years and a Community Assistant in the townhouses for a year. Bobby was chosen by his residents, staff, and supervisors as Resident Assistant of the Year for 2002.

Summer found Bobby serving as a Resident Assistant at Johns Hopkins University for the Center for Talented Youth Summer Program. He has also spent time over the summer interning for a molecular lab in Florida. Next year, Bobby plans to continue his studies at either medical school or graduate school.
