Chino
Hernandez
Chino Hernandez is currently
a senior in Communication and the executive producer of Your
News Update. He has worked in the office for two years making
program schedules which he loves, handles the La Salle 56
blog, The Scribble, and promotions for the station. He
is a self proclaimed theatre psycho, loves listening to music,
watching movies and TV shows, reading, surfing the web and
holds his own concert inside his bathroom. When he's not studying,
working on La Salle 56 shows or even singing in the hallway
of the Communication Department, surely you'll see him here,
eating candy and dancing to Pat Benatar with "Tech Spice,"
Tonya Ellis as they spice up the La Salle 56 office.

Christine
Helmetag
Christine Helmetag is a Freshman, Communication
major. Christine has always been interested in public speaking.
She has been involved in theatre and the arts for seven years,
and this has increased her need to be in front of and around
people. Christine loves watching the news and her dream is
to become "the next Diane Sawyer." She plans to
take the broadcasting track here at La Salle and by her senior
year become one of the many faces of La Salle 56 TV.

Rebecca Morales (Becca)
A freshman communication major, Becca is new
to the world of mass media. Born in Staten Island, New York
and having lived in Lancaster, PA for the past ten years,
Becca has experienced diversity all her life. Like most of
her family, she loves to travel, having been to Canada, Puerto
Rico, and Japan. She even hopes to further her education in
Japan during her senior year of college. Becca is a fan of
music, loves coffee, and has played trumpet since she was
9 years old. Becca is curious to see where life is going to
take her, and is excited to start learning more about her
passions here at La Salle 56.

Monique Parker
Monique Parker is a spankin brand new freshman
here at La Salle. She has decided to study the best major
out, communication! Monique is originally from Washington
DC but has been living in Washington state for the last 4
years. She is Starbucks-a-holic and loves seeing new things
and meeting new people. Monique is new to Philadelphia and
can't wait to get a bite of a REAL cheese steak!! You can
find her wondering around campus or hanging with friends at
B and G. She's excited for the upcoming year and cant wait
to see what La Salle has to offer her. |

Christal L. Saunders (Chris)
Christal is a freshman Communication Major.
She lives here on campus but is a proud native of Virginia.
She's a people person and loves to try new things. SheI has
a passion for music. However she also enjoys talking, movies,
comedy, and all performing arts (just to name a few). When
she's not in SUPER STUDENT mode you can catch her taking advantage
of what the beautiful city of Philadelphia has to offer.

Renee Williams
Renee is a freshman Speech-Language-Hearing Science major. She
is from the small town of Columbia, PA and has lived there her
whole life. She likes playing sports like soccer and basketball.
She also enjoys listening to music as well as singing and playing
the piano. She has always enjoyed helping people and taking
care of others and that is why she chose Speech-Language-Hearing
Science as her major. |
