What is interlibrary loan?

Interlibrary loan provides access to materials that are not available in the Connelly Library.

Books, videos, dissertations, and microforms can be borrowed from other libraries. Copies of periodical articles can be obtained from other libraries and from document suppliers.

The interlibrary loan staff uses WorldCat, the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) Online Union Catalog, to obtain locations for materials. Requests are sent electronically to holding institutions through OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing.

Submit a Request

Before you submit interlibrary loan requests, please check the Connelly Library's catalog to be sure that the library does not own the materials you are requesting.
