Special Collections

The Library's special collections are freely available to scholars, including La Salle students and faculty, as well as researchers from outside the University. The material may be studied in comfort and privacy in a reading room located within the department on the Library's second floor. Scholars and researchers from outside the University will be asked to present identification and a letter of introduction.

  La Salle hosts the third largest collection of manuscripts, books and personal documents of the author of "The Virginian" in the country.



• Bob Dylan

• Susan Dunleavy Collection of Biblical Literature
  An array of illustrated bibles include 16th century woodcut bibles, a King James bible from 1611, and a copy of the first Bible printed in English.
