The Department of Special Collections houses a diverse range of materials, from 15th century illuminated devotionals to subject collections treating contemporary social issues. Special Collections materials are freely available to scholars, including La Salle students and faculty, as well as researchers from outside the University. The Connelly Library’s use policy for computer workstations is governed by La Salle University’s “Acceptable Use Policy” for computer access, issued by the University’s Information Technology Department. Any violation of La Salle University’s “Acceptable Use Policy” for computer access will be reported to the University’s IT DEpartment.
* As a courtesy, the Connelly Library extends limited computer access privileges to University alumni provided that such access does not interfere with or limit a current student’s access to computer related resources. Any access to Library owned electronic content is approved directly by the librarian on duty and is strictly monitored. Should any such alumni computer access interfere with or limit a current student’s access to computer related resources, access to electronic resources will be denied. Any violation of La Salle University’s “Acceptable Use Policy” for computer access will result in immediate revocation of computer access privileges.
