The Department of Special Collections houses a diverse range of materials, from 15th century illuminated devotionals to subject collections treating contemporary social issues. Bodies of work include literature, music, films, art, archival material and ephemera. Visit the Special Collections Website
Special Collections materials are freely available to scholars, including La Salle students and faculty, as well as researchers from outside the University. The Connelly Library has a wide range of full-text databases available to current students, faculty, and staff. Access to full-text databases from off-campus requires a MyLaSalle login.
Summon searches most of the library’s electronic and print content and allows you to filter search results according to your research needs.
Never write a bibliography again! Sign up for a Refworks account to keep track of your resources that you use for writing papers. Refworks saves all of the bibliographic citation information you enter and will automatically generate a bibliography formatted to the citation style of tyour choice.
The password for off-campus access to databases will be the same as your MyLaSalle password. If you are new student or need help with logging in, visit the MyLasalle main log in screen and click on “Forgot Password?” or “First visit to the new portal?” links.

If these hints do not work, you must contact the IT Help Desk in the lower level of Wister Hall – 215.951.1788 – Only IT can reset passwords! The library has no control over passwords!
