The Holocaust

Imaginative Representations of the Holocaust

This collection explores the Jewish Holocaust (1939-1945) with a focus on its aftermath and the nature of its witness communities. Additionally, it seeks to investigate the ways in which the actual event has become mythologized, re-envisioned, and commoditized to the public through films and literature.

This special research collection contains hundreds of creative works, including forms of literature, film and other visual arts. It is augmented by many conference papers, essays and lesson plans on teaching the Holocaust.
