Profile
Joseph Seltzer is Professor of Management at La Salle University where he has taught courses in Organizational Behavior, Managerial Skills, and Leadership for the past 31 years. He has also taught in Switzerland for the past 6 years. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. A Past President of the Eastern Academy of Management and current member of the Board of the Organizational Behavioral Teaching Society, he is a fellow of both orgnizations. Dr. Seltzer has published a number of papers and experiential activities on many aspects of Organizational Behavior, including leadership, stress and burnout, and innovative approaches to teaching. He has consulted with a range of organizations from Fortune 500 companies to small, nonprofits. Current interests in research and consulting include processes for developing managerial skills and building effective organizational teams.
