Profile
Kathryn Szabat received her Ph.D. in Statistics, with cognate field in Operations Research, from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Szabat’s instructional responsibilities include teaching of Business Statistics to undergraduate and MBA students. Her current research interests include collaborative applied research on student performance in education and making statistics more effective in schools of business.
Dr. Szabat provides statistical advice to numerous business, non-business, and academic communities. Her most recent involvement has been in the areas of education. Dr. Szabat has been involved in projects directed by the Race to the Top Education Program, namely, analysis of student performance and instructional needs and development of teacher instructional guides.
