La Salle University Art Museum receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

This gallery is mainly devoted to fifteenth- and sixteenth-century works, though it also contains a few late-Medieval works. Highlights from this collection include the fragment of a fresco by Innocenzo da Imola, a portrait by Jacopo Tintoretto, the small panel painting by Marcello Venusti, and a private devotional work by Jan Provost.
