Overview
The United States nonprofit sector represents the fifth largest economy in the world and is the nexus where our society’s social, political, economic, and moral concerns are identified, battled, worked out, and addressed.
To lead any business today—and nonprofits are businesses—requires being a Jack-of-all trades, and perhaps a master of only some. The Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership pulls from the disciplines of finance, marketing, planning, evaluation, and more, in order to develop the understanding needed to be a successful nonprofit leader. Graduates of this program will not only have gained the interdisciplinary framework and knowledge needed to lead, but also have had an opportunity to apply that knowledge and learn the challenges of aligning theory and practice.
