When can I start the program?

Although there are no formal application deadlines, we recommend that all documents be submitted  to us by August 15 (Fall), December 15 (Spring), and April 15 (Summer). Under special circumstances, students may be admitted up to the first day of classes of each term.

Is the online R.N. to BSN degree program the same as attending classes on campus?

La Salle University’s R.N. to BSN online course option follows the same policies and high academic standards as those taught face to face.

How long will it take me to earn my Bachelor’s degree?

The nursing courses can be completed in 13 months. The timeline for the liberal arts course requirements vary based on credits transferred.

Will my actual degree reflect that I earned my Bachelor’s degree through an online program?

At the completion of this online program, students receive the same degree and diploma as those who earn their degrees on campus.

Will I be able to transfer courses I’ve already taken at other institutions?

Yes, a student  who has attended another college or university accredited by one of the regional accrediting associations may transfer a maximum of 70 credits to La Salle from other institutions. Credit will be considered for courses completed at the institution from which the applicant is transferring, if they have a quality point value equivalent to or above the La Salle “C” grade (2.0).

I am a diploma nurse. May I apply ?

The RN to BSN program is designed for the registered nurse who has earned a diploma or associate’s degree in nursing.

Are the University and Nursing School accredited?

La Salle University’s accelerated R.N. to BSN program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Do I need to be a Registered Nurse (R.N.) to participate in La Salle’s online R.N.-BSN program?

Yes, the RN to BSN program is designed for the registered nurse who has earned a diploma or associate’s degree in nursing.

How many hours per week does a student generally spend on coursework for the online R.N.-BSN program?

Online courses are similar in structure to classroom courses as far as workload and expectations. Typically a student should expect to spend at least three hours per week per credit hour
