Academic Enrichment Program (AEP)

Summer Bridge Program

AEP students participate in a six and a half day residency program, beginning in late August. At the conclusion of this program, AEP students take part in the University's Opening Weekend with other first-year students. With rigorous activities scheduled through the days and evenings, all AEP students are required to live on campus during the summer bridge program. The program is designed to help students build a solid foundation for their academic and social development at La Salle. In addition to campus and college life orientation sessions, academic activities include oral presentations, group projects, written assignments, readings, and an experiential learning trip into the city. Workshops are offered on critical thinking, goal setting, note taking and test taking. The AEP Summer Bridge Program lays the foundation for a successful transition from high school to college. It also sets the stage for a well-integrated learning community.
