- "Synthesis, characterization and reactivity of a trinuclear copper(II) thiocyanurate complex: A spin-frustrated molecular propeller" was voted fifth among the 25 "Hottest Articles" published between April-June 2007 in Inorganic Chemistry Communications.
- Huy (Mike) Dao, undergraduate chemistry major, and Dr. Prushan presented their research poster entitled "Nickel(II) Complexes of a Pyridyl Thioether oxime Ligand" at the 10th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences on October 13 at UMBC. In the afternoon chemical sciences session, Mike Dao won the second place award.
