Vivienne Angeles chairs panel on “Locating and Localizing Religiosity”

Vivienne Angeles attended the International Conference on the Philippines (ICOPHIL) at Silliman University in Dumaguete City on the island of Negros Oriental where she chaired the panel on “Locating and Localizing Religiosity.” There, she met with fellow La Sallian faculty members from De La Salle and De La Salle Dasmarinas. Vivienne also finished writing a chapter on “Muslim Women’s Activism in the Philippines.” Finally, her article on “Religion, Migration, and Belonging: Filipino Catholics in Philadelphia,” is being included in the La Salle Museum Publication, Border Crossings: Immigration in Contemporary Prints, edited by Klare Scarborough.
