First of a Series of Workshops for Faculty Development Sponsored by the College of Professional and Continuing Studies (CPCS)
The College of Continuing and Professional Studies has started a series of Faculty Development Workshops in collaboration with Teaching and Learning Center. The first of these events was held on Saturday, September 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the newly expanded and renovated Bucks County Center in Newtown. The topic was "Facilitating Adult Learners." The workshop was conducted by Mr. Steven Pyser, J.D., an expert in the field of adult education in the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. This interactive workshop was "free" to all faculty members and all the participants received a copy of "The Art of Facilitation" by Hunter, Bailey, and Taylor. You can access the workshop materials here.

We will keep you posted about the next event to be held in the Spring Semester 2007.
