There are just a few things you should know to help you properly submit your application over the Web.
You will be asked to log in to create your admission application.
mylasalle users - All mylasalle users should use their portal login ID and password to log in. Using your portal credentials has one major advantage: All of the information that you previously submitted will be pre-filled in the application. This makes the process a little easier and means less data entry for you. We ask that you review any pre-filled sections to make sure all of the information is accurate.
Other users - Please create a login ID. Many students use their Social Security number as their login ID. This helps the Admission Office match up your transcripts, recommendation, essay, and other materials that are received in the office to complete your application file. If you do not have a Social Security number or do not want to use it as your login ID, you may choose a nine-digit number or have the computer generate a number for you. Your PIN can be any six-digit number you choose, but please be sure to write it down. La Salle has no way of knowing your PIN number and sending it to you should you forget it.
Once you are in the application, there is a five-minute inactivity timeout. This means that if you do not use the system for five minutes, you will be prompted to re-enter your login ID and PIN to continue with the application.
After you enter the type of student you will be and the start term, all the sections of the application that apply to you will be listed with either a yellow or blue icon. All of the yellow icons MUST be completed before your application can be submitted. The blue icons are sections that we prefer that you complete so we can better serve you during the application process.
There are instructions at the top of each screen that will help you to complete that screen properly. Please be sure to read all instructions before starting that section.
When you are asked to enter a date in any section of the application, please be sure to use this format: MM/DD/YYYY, including the backslashes (/).
When you have completed all of the sections, be sure to check the Application Complete box before you click Submit Application. If you do not check the Application Complete box, La Salle will not be able to download your application to our records.
Thank you for your interest in La Salle University!
