For me, the best part of the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program at La Salle University is the program’s holistic introduction to the field of health care. I was able to get real-life exposure to the health care professions through Einstein Hospital’s Shadowing Program. Besides La Salle’s connection with Einstein, the Health Professions Program offers many interesting presentations and lectures. Throughout the school year, health care professionals come to La Salle to address a broad range of topics—from burning issues in current health care to simple tips for the med-school application process. Medical schools representatives also make presentations to La Salle students. While the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program lives up to La Salle’s stellar academic reputation, the program’s merit lies in the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and into the field of healthcare. |
