The faculty at LaSalle are a tremendous asset to the post-bac program. The health professions advising process is personally tailored to each student, and helps the student every step of the way, all the while being very realistic and encouraging. The professors are very accessible and personable, and many take a special interest in the post-bac students. It feels good to have the LaSalle faculty in my corner!

For me, the best part of the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program at La Salle University is the program’s holistic introduction to the field of health care. I was able to get real-life exposure to the health care professions through Einstein Hospital’s Shadowing Program. Besides La Salle’s connection with Einstein, the Health Professions Program offers many interesting presentations and lectures. Throughout the school year, health care professionals come to La Salle to address a broad range of topics—from burning issues in current health care to simple tips for the med-school application process. Medical schools representatives also make presentations to La Salle students. While the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program lives up to La Salle’s stellar academic reputation, the program’s merit lies in the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and into the field of healthcare.
