Linkage Agreement

A linkage program exists with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The advantage of such a program is that students do not have to sit-out the typical “glide year” between the time they apply to medical school and the time they start. Eligible candidates can apply, be accepted and matriculate within the same year. ¬†Even if a student meets the eligibility requirements, the student is not guaranteed acceptance into the linkage. ¬†Each school makes their own acceptance determinations.

Robert Wood Johnson Medical School general requirements include a post-baccalaureate GPA of 3.60 in the science/math medical school prerequisite courses, and MCAT taken no later than the spring of the year of matriculation. After matriculation interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Seitchik, director of  the post-baccalaureate program for further details seitchik@lasalle.edu.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine general requirements include a post-baccalaureate GPA of at least 3.25; a composite score of 24 on the MCAT with no section lower than 8, which must be taken no later than June of the post baccalaureate year. Students must submit a web based AACOMAS application and PCOM’s supplemental application by the end of October. After matriculation interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Seitchik, director of  the post-baccalaureate program for further details seitchik@lasalle.edu.
