This program is designed for motivated working professionals looking to improve job performance, earn a promotion, or qualify for a new position.
Courses will meet both asynchronously, using discussion boards, blogs, and journals, and synchronously, using programs that allow real-time chat and video or audio web conferencing to help you stay connected with your instructors and classmates.
2 + 2 Program Format
This program is designed especially for graduates of Bucks County Community College and Mercer County Community College who have completed required courses at their community college and then transfer to La Salle to complete twenty required courses for their bachelor's degree.
There is a special tuition rate for students in the program. Courses meet four days per week, Monday through Thursday mornings. There are no afternoon or Friday classes. The program is offered in a cohort format. Students complete the program as a group. Once a cohort begins, La Salle guarantees to run every course in the 2 + 2 sequence. Cohort students do not have to worry about a course being canceled because of low registration.
A cohort is a learning community that includes 15 to 20 students enrolled in a set of required major courses, which are part of a degree completion program. A cohort group acts as a learning community with a set of common academic experiences leading to integrated learning, team building, a strong bond among students and faculty, and an enhanced overall experience.
