Chem/Eng Major Interns at Embassy of Greece through DRP Program
Bethany Cottingham, a Chemistry/English major, has been selected by the Diplomat-In-Residence Program (DRP) and the Embassy of Greece, Washington DC, to intern at their Information and Press Office, under Press Office Director, Mr. Achilleas Paparsenos.

While at the Embassy, Bethany will work on press release and press review tasks, will attend conferences, and write a research paper on medical emergency issues relating to the 2004 Olympic games in Athens. She will be the third La Salle student to intern for the DRP at the Greek Embassy.

Bethany will also be awarded a stipend from the DRP, which operates under the auspices of the Office of the Provost, for her work. It is important to note that Embassy internships are highly competitive at the national and international level, and are therefore a direct recognition of merit and ability.
