Study abroad opportunities abound in Ireland, Rome, Mexico, and more. Just ask Teresa Ferrara, who spent her junior year in Australia and learned to skydive on her 21st birthday: “There are endless opportunities to take advantage of while studying abroad. If you have the courage and stamina to adapt to a new culture and discover what life is like in another area of the world, then I highly recommend doing it!”

And Allison Dudley, who went to Ireland her junior year says, "Every day was a learning experience – whether it was trying to master the Gaelic language, adapting to the customs and practices of my fellow students, or trying oysters and Guinness at the local festivals. I have contemplated life while gazing out over the Cliffs of Moher. I’ve been stuck in Irish traffic jams, while dozens of sheep crossed the road. And I’ve played board games with students from Denmark, France, Bulgaria, and Norway."

In the School of Arts and Sciences we encourage you to explore, and a study abroad program is one more way to do that. Our Assistant Deans will help you explore the options, develop your plans, and make the dream a reality! Visit http://www.lasalle.edu/students/dean/ulife/studyabroad/ for additional details.
