As one graduate put it, “La Salle is an extraordinary place where people are rewarded for their willingness to take risks... ”; Another says, “The Honors Program faculty were extraordinary teachers, providing personal attention and inspiration and a lifetime bridge to learning. The program is a gem!” This program has been recognized by the National Collegiate Honors Council and its graduates have continued their studies at Harvard, Dartmouth, Duke, Emory, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Princeton, and Johns Hopkins, among others. Click here for more information about the La Salle University Honors Program. Additionally, La Salle has graduated 58 students who have been named Fulbright Scholars and is one of only 19 colleges and universities in the nation to participate in the Kemper Scholars Program. Last year, one Arts and Sciences graduate was the only student in the nation to win the extremely competitive Davies-Jackson Scholarship for two years of post-graduate study at Cambridge University in England, while another was accepted into the elite Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Yet another won first prize for Best College Animation in a regional FilmFest, and another received the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Information Management’s Future Leader Award. In short, our students and our graduates receive their fair share of honors and awards on and off campus, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. |
