Johnson & Johnson, MTV, the International Olympic Committee, the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Magazine, the Cannes Film Festival, a local district attorney’s office, Independence Blue Cross, Red Cross of America, Philadelphia Art Museum, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (we could go on) all have one thing in common: La Salle University Arts and Sciences students have interned with each of them.

Having an internship is the best way to gain real-world experience and make the contacts that will land you a job after graduation. La Salle students work side by side with future colleagues in most industries in Philadelphia. In fact, our communication majors are working as interns in virtually every television and radio station in the city. There are plenty of other options too, both here and abroad.

According to Political Science Major Kimberly Lyons, “In my first two years at La Salle, I interned for the mayor, a state senator, and eventually the presidential campaign. All three were great ways to explore politics on every level…” For additional information about the myriad of internship opportunities available to La Salle Arts and Sciences students, contact the undergraduate academic departments or the Office of Career Services.
