Recently, Philosophy professor S. Joel Garver and Director of Career Services Louis Lamorte took their "First Year Odyssey" (FYO) classes on a field trip to the Mutter Museum.

The Mutter Museum's collections include over 20,000 objects, including fluid-preserved anatomical and pathological specimens, medical instruments, anatomical and pathological models, items of memorabilia of famous scientists and physicians, and medical illustrations.

The "First Year Odyssey" refers to the one credit program which introduces students to La Salle University and the city of Philadelphia through activities such as field trips and campus wide programs.
